About What Robot?
What Robot? is a buyer's guide for the coming era of buying robots for homes and businesses. We help you work out what's worth buying, what's only worth watching, and what a robot will really cost you.
How we research
We do not test robots hands-on. We research:
- manufacturer specifications and official product pages;
- prices from named retailers and makers, checked on the date shown on each page;
- published reviews and reporting, which we link to;
- company filings where they exist (for example, Agility's SEC filings).
Where a figure is a manufacturer's claim, we say so. Where we can't find a UK price, we say that plainly rather than guess. Every page lists its sources and carries a "Last checked" date.
Independence
We don't take payment for coverage, and there are no affiliate links on the site at the moment. If that changes, we'll label affiliate links clearly.
Corrections policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so on the page. Spotted an error or a price that's changed? Email modernroboticsuk@gmail.com and we'll check it.
Sister site
Robotics and AI news lives at Modern Robotics, which also keeps some buying guides and the full humanoid price tracker.
